Monica L. Hentschel, Esq. - Attorney
Monica is an attorney with more than 20 years of experience with 10 of those being in the real estate industry. Monica specializes in real estate law, short sale negotiations, foreclosure defense and quiet title suits. Prior to real estate law, Monica was a prosecutor in charge of the special victim's unit handling sexually based crimes and homicides with the state attorney's office. Monica's experience makes her comfortable in both the closing room and the courtroom.
Julie Douglass - Manager
Before coming to Estate Title & Trust, Julie worked for First American Title Insurance Company, where she managed an escrow office and a post-closing department. Julie coordinated multi-million dollar commercial transactions as well as residential closings. Her time with an underwriter allowed her to gain extensive knowledge about dealing with complex title issues surrounding real estate transactions.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Saint Leo University and an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting from Hillsborough Community College. Furthermore, Julie is a licensed title agent and a notary public. Julie treats every client with respect and integrity.
Garry Watson - Business Development Manager
Garry has more than 29 years of experience in the real estate industry. Garry started in the real estate industry as a real estate agent. He soon developed skills to help him train other agents and then became a sales manager, winning awards such as top lister and top sales producer. In 1987, Garry was awarded the Realtor Associate of the Year award from the Clay County Board of Realtors, as it was named at that time.
Garry started in the title industry with First American Title Insurance Company as a sales executive winning awards such as Associate Affiliate of the Year for the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors in 1998. He spent 13 years in the title business before finding his home at Estate Title & Trust. Garry has a wealth of knowledge in this industry and strives to look for ways to help our customers succeed in this real estate economy.
Joleen Esquierdo – Escrow Officer
Joleen, a native to Jacksonville, started her career in the title industry in 1989 and has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge relating to the real industry as a whole. She came to Estate Title & Trust in 2005 and has been a valuable member of the team. Joleen is very organized and handles closings efficiently and effectively. She is also a notary public.
